This is a new thing that I am trying and focussing on.
Few philosophies that I like can resonate with, that can express my feelings or concepts that simply I needed to hear and be inspired by.
A week of philosophies. 7 different ways to look and learn about various aspects and views of life.
7 days to learn new, different 7 philosophies and incorporate these learnings into my life.
Day 2, September 12th 2018
Today’s philosophy: The Law Of Attraction
“As you imagine and visualize and verbalize your new story, in time you will believe the new story, and when that happens, the evidence will flow swiftly into your experience.”
-Abraham Hicks
Why was I inspired to choose this?

“To live your greatest life, you must first become a leader within yourself. Take charge of your life, begin attracting and manifesting all that you desire in life.”
-Sonia Ricotti
I have always been intrigued, inspired and attracted towards the law of attraction. A force that exists with us, an effect that is strong. The ability to draw your desires, dreams and goals to reality. It’s fascinating indeed.
I have always believed in a force that if we wish for things to happen, our goals and desires to be fulfilled, I know it will come true. I hope so and believe it.
It’s not purely based on fate and luck, we need to work hard towards it as well. We need to be positive and not think negative about it. We should believe we can do it.
What is the law of attraction?
“I attract to my life whatever I give my attention, energy and focus to, whether positive or negative.”
-Michael Losier
It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialise them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually.
If you focus on negative doom and gloom, you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts and have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to meet them with massive action.
Origin
“The universe is change, our life is what our thoughts make it.”
-Marcus Aurelius
Hundreds of years ago the Law of Attraction was first thought to have been taught to man by the immortal Buddha. It is believed he wanted it to be known that ‘what you have become is what you have thought’. This is a belief that is deeply intrinsic in the Law of Attraction.
With the spread of this concept to western culture also came the term ‘Karma’, it is a belief that is popular throughout numerous societies.
Over the centuries it has been a common understanding amongst many that what you give out to the world (be it anger or happiness, hate or love) is ultimately what can return to your own life in the end.
The main principles of the Law of Attraction can also be discovered in the teachings of many civilizations and religious groups. An example, in the Proverbs 23:7, it reads ‘As a man thinketh in his heart so is he’. Proof of praise for the Laws of Attraction can be uncovered throughout the ages; all recorded and taught in different ways, but still there for all of humanity to find.
How I find it useful?

“Your whole life is a manifestation of the thoughts that go on in your head.”
-Lisa Nichols
I have always believed in the law of attraction long before I knew the concept or what it was called.
I have always had a vision of what I wished to achieve and eventually, I found it all to be coming true. Through hard work, luck and more. I believed I could, and I did. I never thought any dark negative thoughts about my dreams, wishes and goals, I sincerely believed I could do it, and I did it. I still do so.
I find having such energy and outlook on life is good for oneself. It’s always good for positivity to be a guide and a friend in our lives.
Ever since fourth grade, it’s always been my goal to pursue my education, English Literature and Language in the heart of the land, where some of the greatest writers have emerged. United Kingdom and years later I have achieved it. I have believed I can do it and I have done it.
I am keeping a positive mindset and working hard to achieve my goals and dreams. I pray to God to help me and give me the strength. I believe in myself and am thankful for what I have. I thrive on the support I receive from my family.
